Dr. Aaron Campbell completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) in 2004 and went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2008 through a scholarship from the United States Army.
Following dental school, he advanced his training with a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was then assigned to the 4th Infantry Division as a brigade dentist and deployed to Iraq for one year in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Dr. Campbell later completed his specialty training in periodontics through the U.S. Army Advanced Education in Periodontics program at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He was honored as one of three national finalists for the prestigious Kramer Award, recognizing the top periodontal resident in the country.
After residency, Dr. Campbell served as the sole periodontist at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he also helped train new dentists in a 1-year AEGD program. He completed nine years of active duty service in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Major.
Originally from the Kansas City area, Dr. Campbell has always had strong family ties to St. Louis. His wife is a St. Louis native, and most of his family now lives in the area. He and his wife are proud parents to four children. Outside the office, Dr. Campbell enjoys spending time with his family, barbecuing, outdoor adventures, and making lasting memories with friends and loved ones.
Dr. Campbell and Dr. Barrett are active members of several leading professional organizations, reflecting their commitment to advancing periodontal care and staying at the forefront of dental innovation. They are both members of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Academy of Osseointegration, which promote excellence in the specialty of periodontics and implant dentistry. They also maintain memberships with the American Dental Association and the St. Louis Dental Society, ensuring they remain connected to both national standards and the needs of the local dental community.
